Organist and Choir Master

Eric Beven FRCO (CHM), ARCM, LTCL

Eric studied Organ with Richard Latham and holds the diplomas of FRCO (CHM), ARCM, LTCL.

He is a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians. He is also a pianist, studied singing with Richard Standen and harmony, counterpoint etc with John Bryden and Benjamin Burrows.

Eric Beven is accredited by the ISM as a teacher of Organ, Piano and Singing. He has been Organist and Choir master at All Saints Kenley for twenty seven years and also conducts the All Saints Festival Choir. He was previously at St Mary's Church Sanderstead and Organist for the Parish Communion at Croydon Parish Church.

The Organ

The organ was built by Hunter and Sons, then based in Clapham and is of two manuals and pedals. The craftsmanship is very fine, an overhaul was carried out in 2009. This will preserve the instrument for many years to come.
