3rd KENLEY GUIDES

3^rd Kenley Guides was restarted in October 2009, and by Easter 2010 numbers were up to 15 with 4 due to join when they moved up from Brownies.

“In the short time we have been together, we have enjoyed an active programme linked to the core values of Guiding. We have celebrated diversity and developed our global awareness by enjoying an evening devoted to Australia Day. The evening culminated in “Bush Tucker Trials” for which we were joined by two local Community Police Officers and, much to the girls delight, they sampled the “kangaroo toenails” and “koala bear eye balls”!! The girls also enjoyed an evening of 80’s drama, whilst dressed in fluorescent clothing, and requested that they take the drama one step further by putting on a talent show for a paying audience with proceeds going to the Haiti Earthquake appeal.”

Meetings in All Saints Kenley Church Hall on Wednesdays 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Age Range: For girls aged 10½ to 14 years.
