Welcome to All Saints Church!
As parents we want what’s best for our children. The Church is here to help you give them a good start in life and to support you as you bring them up as Christians. In this way they will learn about Jesus, and what it means to live a full life, knowing how much they are loved by God and how important it is to care for others.
What about Baptism?
Baptism is
about joining the Church family, so why not start coming along when you can and
meeting a few of us.
On the 1st Sunday every month at 10am and on the 3rd Sunday every month at 11am
we have a service which is relaxed, family-friendly, and lasts under 1 hour! And
that’s how you start
How do we arrange for a Baptism?
After
you’ve been coming to church for a while, and if you’re sure you want to join
us, speak to the Parish Office on 020-8660-3251 and she will arrange the date with
you and preparation classes.
Baptisms take place either at 10am on the 1st Sunday of the month, or at 11am on
the 3rd Sunday.
At the Baptism we welcome you into the family of God, give thanks to God for the
gift of life, and make serious promises about bringing our children up as
Christians.
What a Church Family offers
• God’s purpose to live for
• God’s people to live with
• God’s principles to live by
• God’s profession to live out
• God’s power to live on
(From “Purpose Driven Church” by Rick Warren.)
The Bible says -
Take the time and trouble to keep yourself spiritually fit. Bodily fitness has a
limited value, but spiritual
fitness
is of unlimited value, for it holds promise both for this present life and
for the life to come.
(First letter of Paul to Timothy chapter 4 verse 7)
